I like this one. It's still part of my "I'm staying in this key and there's nothing you can do about it!!" phase, but it's the first track where I really saw the potential of just slapping some things together to see what happened.
The other thing I like is how effectively the overdubs have turned out - those "spack" snare sounds, phased bits and bobs which creep in and out. The "soft-floaty vs thumpy" paradigm is in full effect as well.
The other thing is the actual use of a lead instrument - kinda rare for my older stuff. Usually I have some loops bouncing off eachother, and call it done - the sine wave lead thing plunking up and down was just adlibbed in as a rough guide, and just as a "one off", but ended up taking over - and then I wrote the bridge part in the middle to practise moving things around in notes rather than time ... and I think overall, it really works.
